My name is Robert Anghel
My musical journey began in middle school, and it feels like just yesterday when I first stepped onto the stage as the lead vocalist in various school bands. Those early performances were exhilarating—each note I sang filled me with a sense of purpose and joy. I remember the excitement of performing at weddings and city fairs, where I would pour my heart into every song. From March to October, these events became a cherished part of my life, allowing me to connect with audiences and share my passion.

One of the most unforgettable chapters in my career was my time as the lead vocalist at the Theatre in Deva. Standing in front of a full band orchestra, I felt an incredible rush of energy and creativity. Performing nationwide was a dream come true, and every show was a chance to create lasting memories with my fellow musicians and the audience. An another moment I am incredibly proud of was singing on BBC's The Voice in Romania.

Now that I’ve relocated to the UK to support my family, I often find myself reminiscing about those vibrant days on stage. The experiences I gained and the friendships I forged continue to resonate within me, reminding me of the power of music and its ability to bring people together. It has certainly influenced my desire to continue singing and sharing in those wonderful moments music can create and so Anghel & Clarke was born.

I embarked on my singing journey at the tender age of 8, when I took my first steps into the world of music guided by my dad and then my school choir. This initial experience was the spark that ignited profound passion within me, propelling me onto the stages of some of London's most iconic venues. One of the highlights in my musical career was the extraordinary honour of performing at the renowned BBC's The Proms, held in the magnificent Royal Hall. This amazing venue added an enchanting touch to an already unforgettable experience, and I still cherish that moment to this day.
I view music as a powerful medium of expression that allows me to convey emotions and forge meaningful connections with others. I am constantly exploring a wide array of vocal styles, which keeps my performances fresh, dynamic and exciting for both me and my audience. My voice, often described as possessing a and soulful quality with a funky, jazzy edge, truly sets me apart as an artist and resonates deeply with those who hear it, often leaving a lasting impression.
When I had the pleasure of meeting Robert and experiencing his beautiful classic voice, I immediately knew that together we could create something truly magical. Our shared love of performing and making people happy through our music inspired us to touch lives with our voices, leading to the exciting formation of Anghel & Clarke. We are thrilled to embark on this musical adventure together!
